Data Deletion Callback

Overview

This page describes how Haze Gruppen AS (Org nr. 934 646 649), trading as Flint, handles data deletion requests received through Facebook's data deletion callback mechanism.

When a user removes Flint's Facebook app from their Facebook account, Facebook sends a data deletion request to our servers. We process this request in accordance with our privacy obligations and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What We Delete

Upon receiving a data deletion request, we remove the following data associated with your Facebook account:

• Facebook Page Access Tokens: Stored long-lived page access tokens used for publishing.
• Social Account Records: Connected Facebook page IDs, names, and any stored credentials.
• OAuth Connection: The connection between your Facebook account and the Flint platform.
• Scheduled Social Posts: Any draft or scheduled posts linked to your Facebook page.

We do not retain copies of this data after deletion. The removal is permanent and cannot be undone.

How the Callback Works

1. You remove the Flint app from your Facebook account via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Facebook sends a signed data deletion request to our callback endpoint.
3. We verify the request's authenticity using Facebook's signed request algorithm.
4. We delete all associated data within 48 hours of receiving the request.
5. We return a confirmation URL and tracking code to Facebook.

Data We Retain

Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so, including:

• Financial transaction records required by tax and accounting regulations.
• Records of published social media posts (the post content itself remains on Facebook; we only retain a reference ID).
• Anonymised analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.

Manual Deletion Requests

You can also request data deletion at any time by contacting us directly at hello@flintgo.io. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure).
